Sexbots?

It is a sad, sad reality that there exist so many techno-fantasy involved men (and, although fewer, women)–because I really can’t believe that most of them aren’t also obsessed with making their fantasy female characters over-sexed, large-busted sluts.

This article I found on Cracked.com has got me spewing my guts and momentarily hating all of my male counterparts. The dudes over at Cracked not only give us the rundown on why it would be to our (as in, male readers–all of their readers must be sex-crazed men, hense not a single over-sexed male sexbot displayed), advantage to create real sexbot women for the pleasure of men–articulating that real women who know how to give good head must have so much practice that they aren’t worth fucking since they’re probably loaded with STDs–but they also, and I quote, believe that “the inability to produce a lifelike female sexbot was named as the single biggest scientific failure of the modern era in one survey of Cracked.com staff.”

While reading this article, you’re supposed to assume that sex fantasies in which women perform sexually for you without any other dimension of character are well-worth your long, lonely hours, and that you are entitled to having it come true some day.

In fact, there are a lot of really lame assumptions made by the dudes at Cracked about their readership, and by extension everyone who reads free, public articles on the internet.

How is it that there are people getting paid to sit around and think up ways that the world could be transformed into a place where women are finally turned into sex objects altogether? And how is it that it’s still not against the law to hate and dehumanize people?
